Hello girls...thought I would come here to get some answers.... I am 38 weeks pg., and have had a yeast inf. for about a week and a half...I have taken the Diflucan pill once, a cream (one time application) once, and now the Dr. gave me more Diflucan..... what else can I do????  Should I buy some over the counter monistat and use that too????  It is such a stubborn infection with all these hormones....what the heck do I do at this point???  I am so frustrated.  Please help me.   Jacquie

I've never had a yeast infection, but the doctors warned me that it may happen because it happens freaquently to pregnant women.

But my problem is bladder infections.

Also happens to pregnant women frequently.
Depending actually.

Some get one, some get the other, and some get BOTH.

I've gotten a few before because of my liver n kidneys don't funtion normally because of a drinking problem I had in the past... but now that I'm prone to them, I get them back to back.

I'll get one, then it'll go away, then a day or two later I'll get ANOTHER one.
And it drives me nuts!
I dunno what to do either.

Now watch me get a yeast infection AND a bladder infection... great...

I have had a yeast infection with all of my pregnancies!!  I have always used the monistat 3 day treatment.  Worked wonders for me.  My only concern is that you are 38w, you need to make sure that you are not dialated before using any of the creams!!  Did the doctor do a pap to see if it is definately a yeast infection and not something else?  Hopefully you can get this under control before baby comes!!!
