Your babies name

So, I was just thinking after reading a post today. The different names we come up with for our babies. Like if you had 2 names you liked and then went with the other one....Like for us, when we were pregnant with Hunter the other name that we liked and could only really agree on was Kash. Intill I gave in on Hunter. Now theres no way I could see him as a Kash, He's my Lil Hunt!! And even know I have not mean this lil bean yet, there no way I could have gone with Chandler.....So, what other names were you going to name your babies??

my daughter is also named Trinity... Kate for her middle name. and i couldnt see her having any other name than Trinity Kate. I am a month away from having our 2nd and we are still name looking, I didnt think it would be this hard for baby #2, I would hate to be the one picking out names for 18 and counting.lol  I want something as good and not used much like my 1st but i am not sure of what.

Smjmekg, seems like we have the same taste in names for girls, my daughter name is Trinity Alyssa

My 14 yr old father wanted him to be a Jr but i said no way and he was not getting his last name or first so he named him after his middle name.

My 4 month old i wanted to name her MaKenzie Symone, i still love that name, her father hated it and wanted to name her Arianna, i didnt like that name so i told him if he dont come up with something we both like MaKenzie it will be(whats funny is  i was calling her baby makenzie while i was preggo), then i said i will until she comes out and see what she looks like.  I looked up some more baby names and names with meanings and Trinity stuck out, so when he came to the hospital he had 4 names on his list that  all had meanings and Trinity was one of them, and when the dr put her on my chest, she looked like a Trinity Alyssa:)

DH and I both agreed from the beginnning about DS's name, Elijah. But were in total disagreement on a girl name. We're TTC # 2 and I don't even know what I'd name a girl or boy yet. But when I was still pregnant with DS and didn't know what we were having, I said Amaya and Alyssa for a girl and DH said Trinity. We both like names you don't hear often and of course now you hear Elijah all the time, so I'm not sure yet for number two...picking names is not an easy task.

With my daughter before I knew she was a girl I loved the name Dryden for a boy. Then when I found out I was having a girl I picked the name Kailie Grace but my mom really liked the name Grace and when talking about the baby she always called her Grace so when she was born is was weird for her name to he anything but Grace. With my second before we even knew we were pregnant we wanted to name our girl Addison and call her Addy. Then while I was actually pregnant his cousin got an english bulldog and named it Addison so there went that name. We then named her Natalie. We're TTC #3 and if it's a boy DH wants to name him Micah but I don't know how crazy I am about that one. I guess we'll see. Cute post BTW

My kids:

Reygan (I picked it and love it =)
Jesse (woulda been Jakoby or Kobe)
Eli (woulda been Malachi)
Cooper (we agreed on this one, LoL)

I think kids really "grow into" their names; somehow, it always seems they have the "perfect" name to match their personalities.  Like my Eli is ornery (sp?) as cr@p, and every Eli I know is the same way!  (Didn't know this when I picked the name....hmmm)

My oldest was actually given the name "Kathryn MacKayla Alexandra" there was a tradition in our family that the first female in every generation got the name Catherine in some form.  Well a few days after she was born I figured why keep it up, my uncle had hocked all the family heirlooms the "Catherines" were supposed to get so I had to write a letter to vital statistics to have her name changed to Alexandra MacKayla.

My youngest girl....we had thought about Jessica Darlene (Darlene is DH's sister who passed away) but went with Samantha Abigail and call her Abby

My oldest boy was going to be Jacob Thomas but I was reading the newspaper one day and saw the name Zachary and liked it so he became Zachary Thomas

I don't remember coming up with any other name we liked for our last one other than the one he got Jacob Gabriel.

DH and I were both in complete agreement on our names for DS - we picked both boy and girl ones since we didn't know the gender.  We named him Daniel Jorge (Jorge being the Portuguese spelling and pronunciation of the English "George").  If he had been a girl, we would have named him Miranda Elyse.

This time, we are also in complete agreement with our names and, once again, we don't know the gender.  We haven't told anyone yet, and, even though it's getting so close now (I'm 38 weeks today), I feel as though I need to tell SOMEONE...so.....

If it's a boy, we'll name him Gil David.  If it's a girl, we're sticking with the name we had picked for Daniel if he had been a girl.

There you go.....phew.......it feels kind of good to get that off of my chest!!! ;-)

Before we ever tried getting pregnant, we agreed on the names Jaiden (for a boy) and Jiana (for a girl).  When we found out our first was a boy, DH brought up the name Jackson, because he likes the nickname Jack-Jack (the baby from the Incredibles movie).  After some minor debate, we stuck with Jaiden and I couldn't see him as anything else!

Jiana is our only girl choice that we have, so I don't see that changing if this baby's a girl.  But, if we have a boy, we're definitely going with Jackson.  We'll just have to figure out a middle name to go with it!!  =D

We came up with a variety of names for my first daughter we thought aPregnancy: Dec 09 bout Gabriella but we settled on Addison Reese.  She is so an Addison, I couldn't see her as anything else.  I think they grow into their names.  For this baby, also a girl we're thinking Jordyn Grace.  The more I think about it, the more I like it.

With DD we KNEW her name would be Kahlan...we picked the middle name on a lark. With this one, we have the male names Grey and Tristan (I love Liam but my husband doesn't like it as much as he originally did) ...picked out and for a girl we have Lyah, Aria, and Grey (yes I know we may use it either way, LOL) but we're just kinda bouncing the ideas around and seeing what family and friends think.

From the moment i found out i was pregnant (which was 4 weeks) I knew if it was a girl her name was gonna be Kylee!! and for a boy i Loved the name Cole, but I couldnt talk my fiancee into, because of something in his past.  so we thought about Gavin, then we realized his uncle just had a baby and named it Gavin... But now im 23wks and found out it was a boy, and we sat down and agreed. His name will be Cole Patrick... Cole after his big brother Ethan Cole..(his half brother). His daddy had a son 2 years ago that passed away at birth... And Patrick for his daddy's middle name..

Well, when i was pregnant with my daughter, before i knew it was girl, i could only come up with girl names. I only had one name picked out if it turned out to be a boy and that was Noah.I loved that name and still do. Good luck!!

With our first son we agreed very early on about his name, Dylan, and never even thought about another name. With this one, another boy, I had THOUGHT we agreed on Matthew James, but a few weeks ago DH brought up the name Logan and thinks he likes it better. So...back to the discussions for us. :)
