I've had both too. Please do take the antibiotics. They will help both/either one. Symptoms will be worse and longer if you have both! It's dangerous to let them get worse, so it's good they have you on them. Just be sure to take them all as directed, even if you start feeling better. Good luck!

I'm sorry dear. :( Trust your doc though, he/she definitely knows your case better than I do. I just know if it is a kidney infection things can get ugly fast (mostly in the way of support early labor).

Like I've been having these pains for 2 weeks an you cant find out wth it is something isn't right. They put me on an antibiotic for the uti but I'm not sure if it is a uti or not an I dont want to be taking meds for no reason. An now I have to wait till thursday to go back an get checked again

Yes. A uti can morph into a kidney infection. If you think you might have one, high tail it upto your doctor/midwife/er. It can be very serious and deadly for both you and baby.

Yes a uti can turn into a kidney infection. I had a kidney infection at 25 weeks with my son it caused me severe pain puking high fever and dehydration. It sent me into preterm labor thankfully they were able to stop it I spent 4 days in the hospital on iv fluids and had iv antibiotics. I was sent home on modified bedrest and had to take macrobid for the rest of my pregnancy I had my son at 35 weeks
