advice please

Since last night I've had almost numbing lower back pain. It feels like my period and feels like I almost have to poo but, I have and nothing changes. It almost feels like its going into my hips to my knees. I went to an appointment yesterday and my baby is 5 lbs 4 oz and head down. I'm 33 weeks. Is this back pain because of the way he is positioned? Also, is his weight normal at this week?

Thats how it was for me, was fine sunday woke up with a bad back out of nowhere. Went to do my NST and the doc asked if I had pain, said it was in my lower back, she asked on a scale from 1-10 how bad. I said 8 (no lie it was even hard to just walk) and she didn't say or do anything about it. I wouldn't worry to much about having an early baby based on size, my brother was almost 10 pounds and he was over his due date. Not to freak you out or anything but yeah.

Thanks luxah! That's what I figured. I was just wondering. Its so bad that I'm laying in bed and it hasn't subsided. Last time I went to see my MW he was head up and I guess he flipped cause yesterday he was head down and had his feet in his face. I just thought it was weird that all of a sudden last night my lower back started hurting and I woke up with it just as bad. Also, everyone keeps saying i might have an early baby cause he is big and its freaking me out. Lol. Thank you for reassuring me though! :)

I'm at 36 weeks and shes been head down for a while now and the pain is from her upside down now. Just try not to over strain yourself
Doing the day to day things. I've noticed the pain has started to subside over three days, but its still there. I hope yours will do the same or go away completely. And yes that sounds like a normal weight at this time. But remember ultrasounds only give you an estimate weight, they're not always accurate.
