am i having a misscarrage

im 6 weeks pregnant i had a scan today which showed the sac and yoke and a bit of the baby but no heart beat as im very early in the pregnancy.

i bleed a good handfull last night once and have been bleeding very small amounts since then.

the midwive said there is a 11mm tear and blood around the sac. they are unsure what is wrong with me or if im having a misscarrage...i have a scan in 10 days but im really scared im losing the baby.

i dont have any period like pain. but as i stuff from anxiety the fear of losing my baby is playing havoc ob my body

I agree with alaysha. I saw my babies heartbeats around 6 or 7weeks. If you are bleeding heavily thats not usually a good sign. All you can really do at this point is stay off your feet and rest as much as you can. Theres not much you can do until you know more in 10 days. Best of luck to you.

You can see the heartbeat sometimes at 6 weeks depending on how skilled the ultrasound tech is and how good the machine is. If you didn't see it yet though don't worry because even a couple days in early pregnancy make a huge difference. Also with my daughter I had a tear behind the sac. Its called a subchorionic hematoma and although sometimes miscarriage results from one its not very often. I bled worse than a period from weeks 5-10 of my pregnancy and ended up having a healthy baby girl. Try to relax (easier said than done) and just wait for more info. Are you getting a repeat ultrasound or blood work done?

Well you wouldnt hear the heartbeat till about 10 weeks. As for everything else that is going on, honey all I can say is that just wait and see what your doctor says, could be nothing wrong at all..

the fact that the yolk sac has been seen is a good sign, it is probably just a little too early to see the heart beat yet. If you are having no bleeding that too is a good sign. Try and stay positive (hard I know) and see what the re scan shows
Best wishes to you
