am i miscarrying?

i went to the er because i had horrible pain in my stomach the doctors poked and prodded me and eventually told me i was pregnant. they did an ultra sound and saw nothing not even a spec. they told me it was because i must be under 4 wks and sent me home. ive been experiencing terrible pain and cramping in my lower stomach it got so bad i could barley walk. then two days ago i started to bleed. just a little at first but then this morning i woke up in a puddle of blood =/ did i just loose my baby?

The samething happend to me with my last pregnancy. I had menstraul cramps that were pretty painful and then had some light spotting that turned into heavy bleeding. Im sorry for your loss. Were you trying to get pregnant?

Alaysha is correct in saying sadly the hospital can not do anything to stop the mc if indeed it is.1 in 4 do mc.did you have a test done originally that confirmed you were indeed pregnant.most doctors do this along with examining you.all you can do is rest up,and ring to make an appointment with your doctor.

The hospital can't do anything to either keep the pregnancy or tell you for sure if you miscarried since you are so early in your pregnancy. You need to call your doctor on Monday and schedule a blood test and then another 48-72 hours after to see if your levels are rising. Having bad cramps are normal in early pregnancy and bleeding does not always end in a miscarriage.
