am i pregnant? or maybe theres another reason my periods late

ok so i had sex on the 4th of april...and i had my period on the 25th of march..i calculated when i would of ovulated and it said tht i had high fertility on the 3rd and ovulation on the 8th...i was taking ocella the birth controll pill...but i only took it for 2 days...then stopped....yesterday would of been the day to start my period and i usually am really regular...i am hopeing i am not pregnant..is there any other reason for my period to be late...maybe bc i started taking the pill then stopped right away...and if i am pregnant...could i go to the store and get a dollar test? would it show up now...since im only 2 missed days of my period?

As nickie said, there could be a number of reasons as to why your period is late. Your two days late at this point, I think you should go and get a test and see what happens. If it's negative you should wait another week before testing again. And if no period in 2 weeks, I do suggest for you to see your gyn just to be safe.

There are many things that could cause you to be late. Pills (starting and stopping) and sickness can definitely cause your hormones to fluctuate and could definitely cause your period to be delayed. I would definitely say that if you are two days late then go out and get a test and see what happens =) Best of luck and let me know what happens =)

i also have tonsillitis...maybe being sick caused it to be late?
