am i pregnant?

Question

can some please help me......i got pregnant the second week of june. not sure the exact date.on july 16 i started to feel pain and had bleeding like a normal period. the pain was just more intense than my period pain, so i took a pt and it was still positive except that test line was very faint and and the control bright.i went to the the er and was told i had a miscarriage.i was told to do a dnc but missed the appointment as i was so stressed, i havent done any. the bleeding lated 5days. on august 6 i took another preg test to be sure but it was then negative. on august 10, ,11 and 14 i had unprotected sex and by the next week i was urinating a lot and even after urinated i pushed n there was still unextracted urine. i was nauseous, i was cramping and i noticed a decrease in vaginal discharge. i hadnt have the money to do an ultrasound. on august 24 i started bleeding, and not sure if its my periodi had terrible pain n cramps,until the 25th, and today the 26th i have less bleeding as when on the stoping. my period always last for 5 are 6 days so i will have to wait and see. on the day the bleeding started i did a preg test which had a very faint test line and brighter control line. am i pregnant???my breast r even tender and a little increased in size and i have an upset stomache. has any one experienced something similar to this and turned out pregnant? why would there be a faint preg line if menstruating?i can hardly see the line too. help...........

ho. on august 6 i took a preg test and it was negative. and had unprotected test on august 10,11 n 14 bcuz i thought i couldnt get preg at the time n on the august 24 when the bleeding started i did a preg test immediately.

not necessarily. My first pregnancy I had a little bleeding and was told the baby was fine only to go 3 weeks later and find out the baby had died 2 days after the bleeding and being told it was fine but that for whatever reason my body wasn't able to get rid of it. Its called a missed miscarriage and to all tests you would still come up as positive until everything is removed. Even after my D&C I still showed positive on a test for 4 weeks.

Umm... you said that you were scheduled for a D&C and that you didn't go. Did you ever get an ultrasound to make sure that you passed everything?

my most recent bleeding was like a period. for two days i had terrible pain and the third it stopped and continue again. i would usually have my period for six days and it would lessen r stop n continue until the fifth day. thanks for ur comment.

How heavy was this most recent bleeding? I would get into the docs and see if your HCG is rising or not. Unfortunately there is a chance you could be having a chemical pregnancy (you implanted but the baby gets washed out with a period), or there is a chance that you are just having implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding is usually very light and only lasts a day or two. 
Plus there are many other reasons to be bleeding while pregnant, only 50% of the time does it mean m/c. 
If you are having another m/c though, it is very important to have it confirmed with the doc as it would be your second time, and most of the time they will only do testing to find out the cause after three confirmed miscarriages.

hey there, I will try to help as best I can with that massive amount of info :D 
Firstly I am sorry to hear about your loss, it is never easy. Reading the first part of what you had written I would have said it may be your body trying to recover from being pregnant, BUT reading the rest it sounds like you may have fallen pregnant again, pregnancy test don't usually give false positive results, they do happen (the dye runs into the antibody strip) but not very often. I would say if you are sure there is a line there and it definitely showed up when you performed the test initially (not after the 10 mins) then whether it is faint or not it means you could be pregnant. I would make an appointment with your doctor to confirm or retest in a few day to make sure before you go. But I wish you luck if you have indeed fallen pregnant again and I hope all goes well.
