The first time I was in Labor for 36 hrs at the hospital and pushed for 4 hours, the second time I cut that in half with 18 hrs of labor and 2 hours of pushing. However my first son was 9lb 4 oz and my second was 10lb 1oz so they were big boys and it all depends on each persons individual body and I believe the second time around is much  easier because you know what to expect. The first time I was very scarred.

i have heard it depends on the number of births she's had...

my first with my son i pushed for 52 minutes which the doc said was very quick...typically its about 2-4 hours the first and each time after it gets shorter

thats just what i hear

congrats to her
