anterior placenta

On January 20th I had a detailed ultrasound and the tech let me know that the placenta is in front and that that would explain not feeling the baby. With that being the case and me being a little bigger, how long until I can really feel him moving around? I feel little rumbles now and then but I want to be able to just feel him. I'm thinking closet to 25 Weeks which is about a month

hmm I think my husband could feel my other 2 around 20wks, but this one it took until about 23/24. now you can see my whole belly move and feel him rolling and moving in so much detail that you can even find his knees and feet and hands and head, lol.

He will feel him soon, tell him to hang in there! I know it's frustrating because you just want to be able to bond, but it'll come :-).

Ok thanks tons! I've been crazy since about 14 Weeks to feel this little guy! :-)
Also when were others able to feel. My dh is a little sad he can't feel anything even though I feel little rumbles. He's a little bit jelous. I think he's coping though with finding anything he can to occupy his mind with the baby.

Hey girl :-). My first two pregnancies were posterier placentas (with the placenta attached where it "should" be, in the back) and I felt my babies move around 14wks..and REALLY move by about 18wks. With this pregnancy, I have an anterior placenta. I felt the first flutters around 14/15wks, but I didn't feel any BIG movements until closer to 22. Now I'm 30wks and I feel him just as strongly as my other two! He's also facing my belly instead of my back so sometimes I can even feel fingers and the front of his head, it's pretty cool!

I would say any time between 20-26wks you'll feel BIG movements :-).
