any of you ladies had any type of antibiotic prescribed during pregnancy? you see im im afraid because my last pregnancy ended in miscarriage. during time when i was very sick and only thing i took was tylenol, am i blaming that medicine?.....no, just happened...now im afraid to take any medecine. im 14 weeks

I was on plenty of antibiotics while I was pregnant.  I delivered a healthy baby. Take your meds.

Take your medicine because 1. The doctors wouldn't prescribe it to you if it's harmful to the baby 2. Causes of miscarriages can come from infections

Therefore by you not taking the antibiotics to get rid of the infection your putting your pregnancy at risk .

I have a kidney infection and in on  keflex anti biotic. If they prescribed anti biotic its BC its important, kidney infection can cause  pre term labor and it was complicating my pregnancy. I'm 21 weeks out of my first trimester though, if u were really worried u can call you're dr and ask about the risks. Don't be afraid to that's what they are there for, its your pregnancy you have a right to know the effects
