are pains in lower side abdomen signs of ectopic pregnancy?

I am 8weeks. Have had a miscarriage in the past. This will be my first child. I am very scared of having an ectopic pregnancy and miscarrying. I have been feeling little pains here and there in my lower right abdomen (where me ovary/fallopian tube would be). I am scheduled for my first prenatal visit for Jan 9th when I will be about 10 weeks. Will they do an ultra sound if I ask for one to tell me that my pregnancy is not ectopic? Has anyone had these pains in these areas in early pregnancy? Has it turned out fine or did you miscarry? I know I am probably worrying too much.

I've never had an ectopic pregnancy, so I'm not sure what it feels like.

But I would say if you're concerned, I would ask for an ultrasound earlier then Jan 9th. That will be the best indicator

Good luck and keep us posted

I don't have any advice, but I'm that it isn't. Don't worry it'll all be ok
