asthmatic

Is there anyone who has bas asthma who is expecting. ? About a week ago I had the worst attack and went to the hospital they gave me prednisone and a albuterol treatment after being discharged the dr prescribed me with an inhaler and a cycle of prednisone. Now that I completed the cycle. I told my sister what happened (who is also expecting) and she told me that taking prednisone can make your baby have a cleft lip has anyone herd or experienced this. Of course I mad a drs appointment for Tuesday but im totally scared.

I have asthma and I take my dulara inhaler and my rescue inhaler I had to cut don't on my dulara because they said it can cause birth defects but I need to take it at least once a day in order to breath normal. I don't take it like I'm supposed to in fear of hurting the baby but as I get father along its harder to breath.

Yes I have asthma I was taking prednisone,  my emergency inhaler, my daily inhaler, and nebulizer treatments. But when I got further along in my pregnancy the only thing im supposed to do regularly is use my inhalers and its important to stick to them if you have low oxygen or alot of attacks it can make you go into pre term labor. I had to stop my nebulizer and prednisone because there was risk of cleft lips and other defects if your using it on a regular basis
