babies position

I will be 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I was just curious how can the Dr tell what position my baby is in? I'm afraid that she'll be breach or won't be positioned correctly for birth. Thanks!

Ok thanks ladies I haven't been told what position she is in yet and I've been feeling what I believe is her head lower lately causing my hips to hurt and lots of pressure. I'm so ready to meet this girl:) good luck to you all!

Doc can also tell by where the baby's heartbeat is when listening on the Doppler. My baby is breach, but I'm only 29 weeks so she still had time to get in position.

They can feel the baby by pushing on your belly a little bit. My doctor is able to tell my her position every time we go in. my baby is always head down curled up in a "c" position lol

I'm 37+5 at 35 weeks I had to get an ultra sound because I was already feeling her so low so my doctor was concerned. That's when they told me my daughter was head down already! I was like wait what no way. But after that's my doctor would push down on my stomach and tell me she's head down. Or stick her fingers up there. But I can now tell myself that she's head down already. And its so uncomfortable lol :(
