baby always straining

My little girl is 6 weeks on Friday but since 3 has strained none stop! She goes bright red and starts crying but has a normal stool, only 1/2 times a day. I asked my doctor who says its normal but it can't be. Were both getting no sleep which is making me ill.

I have infacol but doesn't seem to help much. Just hate seeing her so uncomfortable.

Have you tried using infacol or gripe water? They're not brilliant, but do help a little with wind. If it is really bad, speak to your health visitor, they might be able to tell you if there is something a doctor could prescribe tl help. Oh, I'm not looking forward to going through all this again! 5 days to go (she says hopefully!)
