i read that the babies privates are formed at week 8 so is it possible to tell the babies sex in the 12 week scan?

i doubt it aswell when i went to my 18w scan i wanted to know the baby gender and nothing they told me i have to wait til im 20 w to find out.

no not that early, boy and girl parts look the same around 12 weeks....the earliest you could probably tell is around 16, but most doctors won't tell you until around 20 weeks.

no you can not see babys gender so early you need to wait atleast 10 weeks more to know.

Very much doubt it they wont be visible on a scan that early on.
