baby shower games idea
so what are some games you guys will do at your bany shower and how is it played as well cause im a first time mom and know nothing lol
If your partner is ganna be there there's a game I always play he's gotta know who brought the present with out tell the names out until after he guess wrong you've got to put make on his face its really fun and gets him involved
My friend did the "paper bag game" at her shower. You get a bunch of paper bags from a store and have everyone place a bag on their head. Then tell them to take something off that they don't need (most people will take off a ring, shoe, or coat) keep telling them to take something that they don't need of until someone takes the bag off their head. Its very funny for you to watch and all the guests feel silly after.
There is also the "birth the baby" Its best to play in warm weather. you get little tiney babies (from somewhere like the dollar store) place then in an ice cube tray, fill it with water and them give them to people to "birth" they have to melt all the ice off the baby only using their hands.
"guess whos the baby" With each invite, include a note instructing guests to bring along a picture of themselves as babies. As each guest arrives, assign a number to each picture and post it up on the wall. Have each guest guess which picture corresponds to each guest. After everyone is finished cooing over the photos, give a prize to the person with the most matches that matched up!
"Diaper Derby" Divide your guests into teams and hand each team a roll of toilet paper. Give the teams five minutes to wrap a team member up in a mock diaper. The team with the most creatively diapered ‘baby’ wins. There’s something so outrageously funny about grown adults in hastily assembled toilet paper diapers—your guests won’t be able to stop laughing!
"Feed the Baby"Give each person a large bib and divide the party into teams of two. Each team is given a jar of applesauce and two small spoons. One team at a time, you’ll blindfold the pair and have the team members feed the applesauce to one another at the same time. Clock each team’s time. The fastest duo to finish their applesauce wins. Of course, the best part is watching everyone spill and dribble all over themselves!
"Baby Dec-a-cake" Before the shower, bake a batch of cupcakes, dropping in a single miniature plastic baby in one random cup. At the shower, bring out the platter of undecorated cupcakes—without letting on that one is secretly ‘pregnant’—and give all guests a supply of frosting, candies and baby decorations. After everyone has decorated their own unique cupcake, the mom-to-be chooses her favorite and the winner gets a prize. Then, just as guests are about to devour the baked goodies whole, let everyone know that whoever finds the baby is next in line to have her own!

There's one where the pregnant mommy enters the room holding a tray with things on it like a bottle and paci, just a bunch of stuff. Then the mommy leaves the room and you hand out paper and pens telling everyone to write down the things the mom was wearing, down to nail polish and hair tye.. whatever they can remember. it's really fun because the guests think they're supposed to pay attention to what's on the tray!
One of my fev ones you write on your invite "Bring your spare change, everyone will guess how much was brought and the winner takes ALL!" Then when you pass around the jar after everyone has put their change in it, they write down their guess and the person who gets closest will a bottle of ALL detergent but they don't know that thats the prize until after they've won. :) I did it when I was prego with my son and we got almost 100 dollars and everyone thought it was super funny when we gave out the prize. :)
A really funny one is buy a bunch of different chocolate bars, put pieces of them in numbered diapers, microwave them just enough to melt them and get everyone to write down their guesses on which kinda chocolate bar it is.(obviously one chocolate bar per diaper) some look alot like real baby poop lol
Im thinking about having a pinata for the kids that are going to be there. Also sounds crazy but a water gun fight lol. There's this one that my cousin did is put juice in a baby bottle and whoever drank it first won. What kind of prizes are you all giving?
I made something that said date time weight and length handed them out and had people write down when they thought she would be here and everything.. Not really a game but was fun to see once she got here who was closest! I was exactly on for the date(11 days early)
there are baby crossword puzzles u can print of the internet and give everyone a few minutes to see who finds the most, you can also put rice in a big bowel mixed with baby saftey pins and blind fold each person taking turns for one minute to see who gets the most blind folded. We also put a clothes pin on everyone when they come in and everytime someone crosses there legs you snatch there clothes pin off and the lady at the end of the shower wins who collects the most clothes pins.
guess the belly size! my familys always done it with toilet paper nd counting the squares idk its easier instead of each person goin up nd seein.....
dnt say baby! buy necklaces nd pass them out at the beginning nd thruout the whole time no one can say baby nd if someone hears another person say baby they take all their necklaces nd whoever has the most at the end of the shower wins!
yu could buy baby bingo or baby cross word....
at mine were ganna do a baby sock matchin game.... get like 15-20 pairs of baby socks nd put them in a bowl un matched nd whoever matches the most in like 30-45 seconds (depending on how many socks yu have ) wins......
diaper raffle, everyone brings a package of diapers nd their name goes in a raffle drawin nd at the end pick a name nd whoevers name gets picked wins...

Ima ftm as well but I've been to a couple baby showers before.. all of them had this estimate on how big moms belly is which you just take yarn or something and they all snip how big they think you are then you walk around and see who was closest. Then at one we did this really fun baby food tasting where each person had a diff type baby food and had to guess what they were eating
