Packs a few snacks for dad and make sure you have a camera and any chargers you might need. Chapstick and hair ties. Loose clothes to go home in. I over packed for my first. I didn't bring underware because they give you mesh panties which looked awful but felt way better after giving birth. A fee Nursing pads just incase your milk comes in, although the hospital may have them too. Tooth brush and regular toiletries. I would say if you live close to the hospital, don't bring anything till the next day and send your hubby to get everything ;) new dads like to go home and shower and change so he might as well pack your bag and feel helpful while he's there. Then you'll really be able to know what you need or what the hospital supplies
Trying to deside when to start packing... so just trying to get the lists ready :-)
You should take clothes so u can be relaxed, nightgown, panties, bra, And a outfit so u can have when u leave the hosiptal. Maybe slippers cuz it get cold in the hosiptal. Shampoo And condition, toothbrush, toothpaste They also provided them there. You can ask them for it., brush for yourself. For the baby u should take at least 2 outfits. So when u take the baby home.Mittens and socks. And if u r nursing bobby pillow.
I over packed also. If you plan on nursing bring a boppy pillow! That was the best thing I could have had while in the hospital
I honestly overpacked both times, all I really needed was two shirts , underwear and sweats ( I had c sections so they gave me these giant mesh underwear to hold the maxi from the bleeding they went over my indecision but I couldn't stand them lol) I brought travel bottles of shampoo, toothpaste etc. but my hospital supplied them for me and for baby I brought a few different outfits mittens and hats
