birth control pills as morning after pills

i need to take morning after pills (emergency contraceptives) since i hav had unprotectd sex abt 24 hours ago. In my reagion a birth control pill is available with a composition of Ethinyloestradiol:0.03mg, Levonorgestrel:0.15mg. i read on the internet that a high dosage of birth control pills acts as a morning after pill but i dont know what excatly is a high dosage. please guide me on this. what dosage of this birth control pill should i consume so that it acts as a morning after pill (emergency contraceptive). thank you

I cannot recommend that or give any insight on that. I do hope that if you don't want a baby that you're able to refrain from sex until you are. It's just sad to me to see so many posts tonight about women doing things to their unborn babies.

LosingmymindinGA~ BCP's don't cause birth defects as far as I'm aware.. even in high doses. Some women have been on Depo (high hormone dose) throughout their pregnancy and had healthy babies. (they didn't know they were pregnant til around 6 or more months....

But yes, Go see a Dr. and ask about it!

I'm don't know about that, but I think trying that may run you at risk of not aborting the pregnancy but causing birth defects.  You may want to see a physician.
