birth control?

I have never been on any kind of birth control. What method do you ladies suggest for after my baby is born and wich ones not to use?

I was on Depo for 9 years and I gained 50+ pounds on it. My depression worsened and it took me 2 years to get pregnant after I got off it. My friend had the nuva ring and its stuck where it shouldnt be and doctors told her she might not be able to have anymore kids now. I dont think I will ever use any form of birthcontrol except for condoms if I have to. Thank god my husband wants our kids very close in age because I was dreading the thought of birthcontrol until he said I didnt have to get it :)

I had the murena n I loved it. It just felt like cramps getting it in but I never felt it after that and I felt absolutely nothing when I got it taken out.

With nuvaring you can leave in for 4 weeks take out and immediately replace with following ring. Doing it this way you have a light period or don't have one at all. And from my experience, once I stopped using period returned to fairly regular within 3 months

My younger sister got the depo shot for about 4 years and she has been off for about a year or so she has yet to receive a regular period gain massive weight also she has been having skin problems that we think has to do with the depo...I also kno someone who got one of the rings not sire witch one but she go prego & the couldn't find the ring inside her ...so I'm going to say the pill or maybe the patch if they still offer them ..ultimately its your choice after this baby I'm going on the pill

^ no depo!  If you use it for a long period of time it causes osteoporosis, i believe. Get the pills- Loloestren works the best, or iud. Or the nexplenon. The one on your arm. Or nuvaring.

I was on depo and absolutely hated it! It took me forever to get pregnant after being on it. I will never get on it again.

I like the nuvaring. Didn't like the depo shot gained about  In water weight took me over 18 months to loose. Plus I still irregular periods on depo

I'm also debating the depo shot I can't keep up with pills and I hear the marina is painful and has lots of complications

Me either. But I'm going with depo so I hope it works out
