Im 22weeks today and last night i woke up to pee like usual at like 3am lol but i had such bad pain. It was so painful i was folded in two and could barely walk to the washroom. I thought i was gonna be stuck there abd was aboit to call my hubby but then it went away. The pain went fro. Left to right or vice versa and it felt like a heated metal rod was inside my stomach. It was the first time ive ever felt that and i havent felt it since.

Is that braxton hicks? I mean my stomach is always hardish so im not sure if it was harder then normal. And is that kind of pain normal?

I'm 22 weeks and my bh never hurt. I have pulled a muscle and that gets hot like you said. It's just now healed. And sometimes, for me at least, my body doesn't like the way I get up or move and it'll hurt. Just double check :) I always call my doctor haha.

Some bh do hurt I've had them threw out this whole pregnancy and some of them get pain full, my doctor told me its normal for them to be painful, but it's nothing close to real contractions.

Ill make mention of it to my dr. I didnt think bh were suppose to hurt thats why i was confused. Thank you ladies :) it is very scary now but ill keep calm. Surgery is scary no matter when lol ive never broken a bone or even had surgery so i hope its nothing serious like that. Its bad enough im scared of labour lol

I would call the doctor and at least ask them what they think. Maybe you got up too quickly, or moved your body the wrong way. If it still hurts you might have pulled a muscle. I hope it doesn't happen again, that doesn't sound pleasant.

I have that same exact feeling and the beginning of my pregnancy only mine turned out to be appendicitis you might want to check with your doctor it's a scary thing having surgery when your pregnant but no matter what happens good luck mama :)

I have never gotten this now Braxton hicks do not hurt its simply just a tightening of the muscles in your stomach area (false contractions preparing your body for birth) I did not began to experience mine till 7 months abd they are painless please whatever you do drink plenty of water and stay off your feet and make sure you mention this to your dr asap to be sure :) good luck Hun
