breast feeding questions

Ok so I plan on breast feeding I'm a 100% set on it. This will be my first baby but u have no idea what I'm gonna do lol. So my questions are....

Is it safe to use body soap when I shower. I use to the dove soap. Its a pink bar. Can the baby still breast feed or will it be swallowing the toxins off the soap. I'm sorry if that sounds dumb?

I'm using lanolin for my nipples because they are dry. Is it safe for the baby?

Also for th already moms did you breath feed in public or did you pump into a bottle whenever you when out. My mom says I shouldn't breast feed in public because that's disgusting but I really wanna keep baby off the bottle and only on nipple.

I just use water on the nipples and body sosp everywhere else. I forget where I resd about it. Lanolin is safe gor baby and you dont need to wash it off before baby eats. I breastfeed in public whenever and wherever. If you are uncomfortable with it you can use a cover. I personally dont see how its disgusting.

Soap is still safe. Lanolin is amazing for your nipples if theyre dry, sore or cracked, and its 100% safe. If you want to breastfeed in public (its most deffinately NOT gross, its natural) then go for it. If youre worried about showing too much, just buy a breastfeeding cover or use a recieving blanket to cover up.

I never washed my nipples with nothing but water when breast feeding and I fed out in public it's like telling you not to eat in public and lanolin is safe for the baby I used it when breast feeding my son and I'll be using It for this one

Soap will dry out your nipples,  when u breastfeed dont use soap on em. Lanolin is safe for baby, it can breastfeed with it on ur nipples. And my baby is not born yet but I pkan on breastfeeding in public.  Some say ita gross, but thats what they are for. And my mother in law did it so I'm use to sEeing it.

You can use soap its fine, it is best to avoid washing your breasts with soap just because it can dey out your nipples, but it won't harm your baby.
