I'm curious, how long did you guys breastfeed? I think I want to try to as long as I can. I know a lot of it is personal preference, or whether your body will allow it. But what is a good time frame? I'm a ftm and am 14w+4days.

I breastfed for 22 months.

I plan to breastfeed till he's 6 months then when he starts getting teeth I'll bottle feed him my breast milk.

I breastfed my son till he was 2 years old a lil after. he had to stop cold turkey due to the medication i had to take for this pregnancy. hopefully ill have enough milk to do the same with this baby thats got a month and 3 days left.!

I did it for 16 months, mainly because my daughter simply wouldnt drink regular milk regardless of how hard I tried (she wouldnt even do pumped milk in a bottle). I intend to go at least a year this time.

Any amount of time is a good time frame. Your milk supply could last anywhere from a month to even 2 years. I don't think it really matters how long you breastfeed. It's just a nice bonding experience.
