breastfeeding question

I plan on breastfeeding but I was wondering if its possible to only pump and bottle feed. Will you stop producing if you only pump? I know its silly but it freaks me out to not know how much the baby is eating.

Yep completely possible. Make sure you get a good quality pump and you will need to pump frequently, like a baby would nurse, to get your milk to come in. That is going to include during the night too. Once you have a good supply established you can space them out but still want to follow a schedule that would be typical of an infant that age.

I did this with my first baby it managed to keep my supply you just need to make sure you keep a schedule.  With this baby I am breastfeeding and pumping it is all up to you:)
