I breast feed with my son for as long as I could - he has a food allergy and has to have special formula - honestly it's one of the most amazing things, you need to have patience because it can get stressful at times - trying to get them to latch on and plus when their hungry they are fussy and they can get upset so you have to keep at it - but the bond that you have with them and the connection that you make is incredible, I breast feed my son for 5 days until I found out he had a food allergy and even when I bottle feed him, there's that connection. He gets fussy with other people if they are trying to feed him. I HIGHLY recommend it and you should at least try it for a few days before you make up your mind.
Its really easy. If u need help have a lactation consultant help you before leaving the hospital.
It is not as bad as it seems :) I was all against it with my first. But considered it with my second. I did it for 3 months. Going to do it w this one too :)
Thanks im going to try and see how it goes :)
Be patient!! It takes alot of patience. but its worth it. and it WILL stop hurting eventually, took about a week for it to not hurt no more for me. dont listen to other people's stories, try it for yourself. good luck (:
