breastfeeding with uneven breasts

Ok so I have very uneven breasts to the point where I have to wear a prothesis. A c cup and a g cup. I have 2 kids whom I tried to breastfeed but theyve both had trouble latching to the bigger breast. I am now pregnant with number 3 and I desperately want to breast feed him/her. I was thinking of investing in a good electric pump and only feeding from the smaller one and pumping the larger. Does anyone have any idea about this any advice would be greatly appreciated. Ty

I think you should sit down with a good lactation specialist prior to birth.  Discuss your concerns and your experience and see what she recommends.  There are women with large breasts who ARE able to breastfeed but require the use of aids.  I see no reason why you couldn't do as you are saying, the only thing I can think of is that if you are planning to feed to the pumped milk from a bottle it may cause initial confusion and frustration for the baby.  Maybe you could invest in one of those supplement contraptions (not sure what they are called).  The ones that you hook a bottle into and it has a little tube you insert in the baby's mouth while s/he is nursing on your breast.

There is also the idea of simply pumping both sides and bottle feeding the breast milk.  I would really speak with at LEAST one, if not a few, lactation specialists.  Good luck.
