My longest one was 2 weeks, and it was because two of her growth spurts got combined into one longgg stretch of hell :(. It passed and now we've been BF'ing for 8+ months
I reallt hope it passes fast then.
it sounds like you're going through a growth spurt, very few women can't produce the milk supply they need. questioning supply, boobs feeling empty, fussy baby, etc. are signs of a growth spurt, can last a few days up to a week, and it will pass.. as long as baby is getting 4-8 wet diapers a day, your LO is getting enough.
It's most likely milk glands. Try to squeeze them and get them out because they may cause you to run fevers. It happened alot to me with my son and it was sssoooo painful!
Is there anything i can do so i can get more milk i feel like ita not eenough
I think it could not be clearing the breast. I heard that you can change positions and that can help. Also I'm not sure if pumping is an option just to make sure that each breast is "truly" empty. You don't have to buy an expensive pump since you might not be using it very often.
flaka88 the reason why they might not feel ss heavy or hard is cuz your milk may have adjusted to what the baby only needs.
So i notice today when i woke up one of my boobs bigger then the other could it be possible it could have dried out i dnt feel them both as hard as they would get anymore...is there anything i can do so i can continue getting milk.
Omg! I just found one like two seconds and i was wondering what it was then BAM! I find this post lol its a little sore too but im glad to know itll go away :)
They hurt sometimes. i juss hope they dnt stay permanent there they look bad.
It's very likely just your milk glands. I'm 8 months in to breastfeeding and still have them
Happens to every mommy , it's milk . Just take your thumbs and rub downward from your armpit . The more your baby eats it will go away . Mine went away in about a week (:
