can I be pregnant

I had unprotected sex last Friday. I am not married.   I have not had sex in 4 years.  I went to the Dr. yesterday because I had been cramping.  She found out I had a UTI.  I am 57.  I don't remember if it has been 12 months since my last period.  But I am not having periods.  I am worried I am pregnant.  She did a urine test and it came back negative.  But I read that the best time to check the urine is the first time you go in the morning.  I am wondering if the test could be wrong.  I am very frantic about this.  I hope someone can reassure me!  Thanks!

If you are 57 the reason that you might now be having a period is that you have gone through menapause, if so then you are not ovulating anymore and I would guess your chances of getting pregnant are pretty low to none.
If you are still ovulating and had intercourse last Friday that would mean it has not even been a week yet, it is way to early to test and get anything accurate. It can sometimes take up to 7 days for the sperm and egg to fertilize. If you are pregnant you are going to have to wait a couple more weeks before a test is accurate.
