can i still workout normally in early pregnancy?

i'm almost 7 weeks and working out is the only way i can relieve stress i don't know if i can do REAL excercise while pregnant, are sit ups/running safe? i'm pretty sure it won't hurt my baby, but i need conformation :)

I'm 18 weeks pg. I've been running and lifting weights even before I was pg. My doc knows and encourages me to stay active. So far I've had no problems during this pregnancy. I still do an average 3 miles a day and do some lifting after. Nothing too extreme of course. Just what my body is already use to. Just be careful and stay hydrated. Don't get too hot otherwise that could hurt the baby too.

Ask your dr. If youre used to exercise then it shouldnt be a problem. But you need to confirm it with her/him. Other wise you run the risk of miscarriage.
