can my newborn get sick if i am??

hey ladies:-)

my son is now i week old and this morning i woke up feeling so achy and sore.. almost like i may be coming down with something,. I did have a c-section, so i know my middle area is probably sore from the surgery. also i my breasts are very sore so i know that is probably from feeding.. I am breast feeding and i am concerned if i am sick my son will come down with something.

I just feel achy everywhere else..could i maybe be this way from doing too much? I took my temp and it was 99.2

rem, eber that even though your baby is new and small and oh so fragile looking, that they are as tough as nails! nature made them to be able to deal with stuff like this and youll be constantly amazed and how tough they really are! i wouldnt worry to much, to me it sounds like youve been overexerting yourself and need to try and take it more slowly, remeber your body is not back to normal yet and to soem degree your still healing! take a few more rests today and im betting tomorrow youll feel less achy and better!@

right when my son was born and came home form the hospital...my neighboors came over to see him. it just so happened that the 5 year old little boy had a really nasty cold and was sneezing and coughing along with his runny noise.  they left like as soon as they got their because i addressed the problem.

a few days later my throat started hurting, i was sneezing, and coughing and my noise was runny. i had the cold.....dominic never got the cold. i dont know why i was still breastfeeding and all so eh. i guess they dont always get sick
