can you eat before induction?!?!
With my first i was induced and was allowed to eat for a few hours. But at a certain point wasnt allowed anything. Except when my nurse snuck me a cup of ice water..
This time i have to go in at 830 am. And was told i likely wouldnt have problems since i didn't with my first. But can i eat before i go in?! Or do i have to beNPO after midnight?

I ate right before induction. they said I could eat until i walked into L&D then i needed to stop incase of a csection.
You can eat rite up until u want fto av had 2 inductions i went in wivout breakfast they gave me it cos induction can take longer then 12 hrs
Alicia..:( i have an appt thursday so im going to ask what exactly i should expect and if i can eat or not.
Thats what i was thinking! I was thinking about stopping on my way to the hospital and enjoying a good breakfast and a good size drink! :)
