please provide US and international studies and the years they were done as to your beliefs!

what are the dangers you have "heard" of? I would love to hear them, as I have never come across any dangers, problems or studies showing it is NOT SAFE.

I would love to read the updated reports to this for informational purposes.

The only things I ahve ever heard or read studies on casueing dehydration is throwing up and not being able to keep things down during labor and also not being able to eat and drink in labor, I was not allowed to and my daughter came out with low blood sugar even though I had gained 7lbs from the iv's they had pushed in me. The dr himself told me after the fact that "not being able to eat and drink during labor often casues low blood sugar in new babies". I told him he should of not blocked it then and he said it was proceedure.

I will not argue with you about how you feel but if there is any studies you can point me to I would love to read them.

"Castor oil has never been shown to not be safe"

Correct!  Castor oil should NOT be used unless under direct medical supervision.

Inducing labor, even at 38-39 weeks can be dangerous and should only be done if deemed medically necessary!

Castor oil has never been shown to not be safe and does not poss a threat to wither baby or mother! Midwifes have been using  it since it was there! Evening primrose oil on the labia or cervix works well and is safe for any owman as well. Walking brings the baby down and helps put pressur eon the cervix. Now there are other natural herbs but they can pose a threat and not be good with some medical histories so I will not talk about them but do not use other methods you might be told for that reason! The castor oil will only help if you are ready to go into labor. It causes intestinal cramping that can put just enough cramping on the uterus to help it get started. You take 2tbls in a drink or mixed in food then repeat in 4 hours. It can make you have to go if you know what I mean and some woman do not like this! If you are a little eregular then it can help but if you go alot you might have some cramping you don't like. It does not make the baby ahve a bm inutero! Many woman say this but no studies ahve been done and there has been no documented proof. It goes stright to your intestines and does nto stay to be absorbed into the system therefore does not do this! It would ahve to be absorbed like a laxative form for the baby to get that effect also. Woman used to taek it for colds and lots of things a long time ago and babies were fine and still are. The evenign primrose oil use break open a capsle of 1000mg or if you can find the oil use it every 4-6 hours and labor usually starts in 48 hours or less. I have never seen it go longer. It is good to when you start contracting form it to ahve sex to get your oxitocin and prostiglandins kicked in, you make both and the prostiglandins is in seman. You will contract from this!!! It may stop after an hour or so but you can use it again. Now do not use these things if you are earlier then 38-39 weeks!!! Good luck!

I assume you are taking castor oil in an attempt to induce labor.  You should know that this is dangerous and can lead to complications such as severe dehydration.  Did someone instruct you to do this?

I don't think that walking is going to make it any better lol. I did the castor oil thing with my first son and my water broke the very next day. I also recommend eating pineapple core and pineapple juice! Combined with both I ended up having my little man less than 24 hours later =) Best of luck to you!
