It is very common in pregnancy. I have the little bumps and u am 19 weeks 5 days and gave had them since the beginning of my pregnancy, the little bumps are supposedly glands to lubricate the nipple for breastfeeding, good luck :)
I knew probably the first week or 2 I was pregnant. We weren't really trying, but we weren't preventing at all! My breasts is how I knew, they were so sore and swollen even before my missperiod. Hopefully you are. (;
My breasts are really sore at the moment i don't know if im pregnant but the areola is expanding and i can see the little lumps clearer i thought it was too early to see symptoms x
I'm in so much pain in my chest right now! Is anybody going through this? I feel lot better without wearing a bra! LOL I don't know if I can hang! I don't like the color either! LOL
Awwwwwwwwww how cute! i can't to have my bundle of joy!
:) When a baby is born it can only see about a foot infront of it everything else looks foggy. Having the areola darken makes it easier for the little darling to find and be able to latch on.
Darkening areolas: In very early pregnancy -- around the time of your expected period -- you may notice that your areola (the darker area that rings the nipple) begin to darken and increase in diameter. It is believed that the darker color of the areola helps the newborn to find the nipple for breastfeeding. You may also notice that the veins in your breasts become more visible and that Montgomery's tubercles, the tiny "bumps" that are scattered around the areola, enlarge and may increase in number, averaging between 4 and 28 per areola.
Tender breasts/nipples: If you are pregnant you will notice that your breasts and nipples become tender around three weeks after conception (when your period is about one week late). They may also feel swollen -- similar to the way they feel when you expect your period.
In case you all wanted to know! here the def....LOL
i looked it up....... now i know what it means. yay!
Its so when you breast feed its easier for the baby to find the nipple. :)
i guess you could google bumps on breast during pregnancy...i think it has something to do with preparing your body for breastfeeding. I donno.
do you guys know why we have them, is there a way i could look it up?
I didnt have them before I was pregnant...and I dont remember having them with my other pregnancies but I have them now...so maybe you are :)
So............. maybe i'm am pregnant. cross finger! lol
