chemical pregnancies

i have had a total of two chemical pregnancies with in the past year.  confirmed with a positive hpt but i had a tubal ligation done 5 1/2 years ago. are chemical pregnancies an actual pregnancy and if so does this mean that there is a chance i am still able to conceive and how do i prevent another early miscarriage.

Yeah I think you meant implantation doesn't occur until a week or two later. It's all good. Just wanted to clarify in case the original poster ends up seeing this message.

DUH im sorry- i meant to say the Fertilized egg never implants it self is why you can not see anything clinically only chemical signs of the preg. This happ to me, and it was most likley do to the BC that i had just gotten off. It thins the linning of your uterus. But that was my sittuation. But yes ofocarse you are preg, the embryo just never gets to implant itself. Thanks for the correction.

Fertilization is when the sperm penetrates the egg.

Also they call it Chemical Pregnancy because, nothing can be detected Clinically through a sono because it is so early, only chemically through urin or blood.

A chemical Pregnancy which i just had, has no barring on whether or not you can conceive. Im almost 100% it is not a Fertilized Egg, you concieve which is the sperm meeting the egg and before you get to Fertilization which could be a week later, it is then aborted. This happ so often but most women do not catch it, and get their on time Af or it comes a few days late, sometimes that is why it is good to wait to take a test, if i never took a test i would not have even known, because the MC had already happ, and i thought it was the begining of a preg when in reality the mc was 17 ago from the pos test. It is def a real preg, i just do not think the egg gets fertilized and there is def no heart beat.

Yes, it's an actual fertilized egg, which means you most likely can still conceive.

Chemical pregnancies are not preventable.
