Even tho I use a bleach solution, I make sure to use it in a well-ventilated area, I work quickly, and I wear gloves.  Granted, I haven't done much cleaning in the past couple months!  lol ...it's hard to get serious about housework when you feel like you wanna throw-up every 5 minutes.

I saw the ads for the Clorox 'green' products.  They look like they'd be worth a try.

I just had a doctors appt the other day and I was told to only use one's that dont have harmful ingredients in them..something along the lines of simple green is fine. Atleast thats what my doctor said. Dont use anything with ammonia or anything harmful to breath in.

I try to stay away from the strong smelly chemical ones. I started using Green Works. Like the name Green actually works.  Its a natural cleaning solution that doesnt have that strong smell and i feel safe.

I am a total clean feak and I use cleaing products all the time. However, when I got my bpf I went ahead and changed some of the major cleaners to more natural based solutions. My friend recommended Method cleaning products. They are supposedly chemical free, etc....

I could not find them in my local store the other day, so I bought a Clorox natural cleaning product. I used it once so far and it did not have any smell at all which was good. :)

I have heard that they are fine.  But, I was watching an organic living show the other day and they said to use vinegar and water as a cleaner that is completly safe and hazard free. It is one part vinegar: Four parts water.

I have been using this, and it is amazing!  It cleans things that my previous cleaners didnt touch!

I'd be cautious as to using cleaning products especially if it is a spray or aerosol...there is a video (or used to be) on baby central . com or baby center . com that showed how quickly things that you are exposed to or inhale go from you to placenta...be careful!

You would be fine using them as long as you are in a well ventilated area.  Also...Clorox just came out with a line of products that are all natural.  You can try them.  I agree that Mr Clean Magic Erasers are the BEST!

If you feel like using the cleaning products are making you not feel well while you are cleaning...then you should probably stop using them.  I know that there came a point in my pregnancy at the beginning and at the end that the very SMELL of ammonia or bleach made me vomit.  So I just stopped cleaning and made my hubby do it!  LOL

oh and also, I would definitely recommend using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  They work great on everything.  You dont have to use any chemicals with them.  Great on showers!!!  Best $1-$2 you will ever spend!!

In everything that I have read they seem to be ok.  But if the chemicals bother u.  than I have heard that either mixing vinegar and water together acts like windex.  or for an antibacterial use water and hydrogen perixiode (sp?).  Oh and if you do use cleaning products try to keep them off of your skin.  Use gloves.  and make sure the room you are in is well ventilated.  Good luck to you.
