cold n going crazy

Hey y'all, I'm 30wks n I feel like crap. My voice is gone, I'm congested, my throat hurts n I'm sneezing n coughing like crazy. I was wondering there is absolutely NOTHING I can take?? Like I can't rub vicks on my chest or can I even take throat losengers(I know I probably killed that spelling lol)??

Vicks and halls are good. You can also take Benadryl during pregnancy. There's not much else you can take unfortunately.

But definitely the humidifier is good. If you can't get one, get a pot of water on the stove and boil it. Lean over the pot of boiling water with a towel over your head. Can drop a bit of vicks or eucalyptus oil in it

I cant believe I forgot to mention a humidifier!  I swear by them lol!

I've also got one. Do you have a humidifier? We bought one when I got a cold during my first pregnancy and I swear buy it! If you are really sick, your doctor might suggest some medicine. I got pretty sick during my first pregnancy (high fever, ear ache and a flu) and my doctor gave me an antibiotic and an expectorant. Good luck!

I had a cold a while ago and I pretty much BATHED in vicks! It ***** because you cant take anything thats a decongestant :-(  but if you run your shower warm enough to create steam and sit in the bathroom for a little while it will help with the congestion.  Just don't overheat!

Vicks is perfectly fine, and my ob told me cough drops are ok.  I'd die without the vicks!!!
