Indeed! In all reality you're getting all worked up and won't get an answe  when either is a possibility. Doesn't mater which is more/less likely. Only one way to find out.

I understand. And this is why you need to have a paternity test done. You can guess and speculate until you're blue in the face, but in the end that's all it will ever be. Speculation. At least with the test you'll know and can move on.

i will always have doubts! especially for what i did! that's just me. i jus try to put all the information togetha and make it come as one! from reading about conception, ovulation, when to have intercourse, irregular periods and etc. i just want other people's opinion also. nothing major

I mean, if you don't want to pursue it you don't have to (obviously) but despite what doctors have said for you to post this on here, it shows you have some doubts in there. Personally I would still recommend paternity testing to know for sure.

clysta..i see where you are coming from but every doctor that i talked to are telling me the same thing. that oct.8 was more probable my fertile day. the dates may seem close but that's alot of hours and days away from each other. and that sperm survives only 72hours putting oct.3 sperm dying away around oct.5/6. and on a day you aren't fertile the acid kills sperm mobility.

The dates are too close. Speculation is NOT worth it in a case like this. It doesn't matter if you weren't fertile that day, leading up to ovulation is your fertile week. You need a paternity test, and you should tell both men they have the chance of being the father. It's not an ideal situation, but you yourself put you in it and now need to make the best of it.

well i know my ex sperm is not that strong to last 7 days. and the day we had sex i wasn't fertile. and my doctor said for sperm to last that long it has to be under ideal situations. that sperm lasting that long is very unlikely. the most is 2-3 days. when i put my information in on an ovulation calculator..it says my most fertile period is oct.7-oct.12 with oct.10 being my conception day. and when i click on avoiding pregnancy it shows the days to abstain frm intercourse which were oct.6-oct12..with oct.3 being an unfertile day and a very low chance of conceiving a baby!

Sperm can live up to 7 days. Realistically it could be either man's baby. The only way you'll know is with a paternity test.

Most likely it's ur boyfriends based on the dates u gave. U should just do a paternity test though. It's a tough spot to be in but reality is, u have to suck it up and just do it. It's ur only ACCURATE option... Good luck!

probably your boyfriend...but you'll need to do a dna test when the baby is born to make sure.
