confused on GD blood sugar.

Okay I read that if you go without treating your GD your baby could make insulin for you and the baby which is bad for baby. Well I've been doing the diet and working out and my blood sugar have been good. Well I ate a pizza today and went walking (I do that after lunch and dinner) and I checked my sugar two hours later and my sugar was at 99. Well I did some house work and ate the last peice of pizza and went walking again and when I got home and finished clean my blood sugar was 69. So I'm confused is my body making insulin or what?

As long as you can keep it from going over 120 you'll be fine I'd suggest working out before you have to test maybe right after you eat that way with the 2 hr wait and exercise you shouldn't go over 120 very rarely

I have GD and our bodies don't make it that's why we can have high readings if we don't test , diet and. exercise. If you don't do any of those the babies pancreas over creates for itself and can have very high insulin levels when born. The reason you diet and exercise is to keep your levels down so the babies pancreas doesn't over create. In the morning you should be between under 80 and the rest of the day you should be under 120 if your numbers don't get near those your fine

99 is fine 69 is starting to get a lil low but ok. You want to keep it below 110 80-100 is ideal.
