connection to the father

Question

Do any of you ladies feel as if you are just drawn to the father of your child because you are carrying his baby? Like the connection wouldn't be as strong or there at all without the hormones?

My husband and I were like that when pregnant with our first. We fought all the time and even during the pregnancy I thought the only reason we are together is because of the baby. But out of all that uncertainty grew a beautiful friendship and turned into a wonderful marriage, now expecting baby 3.

Yes I know wat you mean my partner and I were only together for a month and a half before I fell pregnant so we never really gained a cute emotional bond. And we used to fight all the time but now im pregnant all I want is his attention and touch. But hes still distant to it .hes gotten better but I deffinatly understand wat you mean when you say it might not be there at all if u werent pregnant. It has brought us closer but yerh

My sons father and I don't even speak so this is more tough. When he was around during my first trimester and a little of the second I wanted him around all the time, but I was like that during our relationship because I was so in love with him. And I know if he called me and said sorry I wouldn't hesitate to take him back. So I guess it's true.
