There is no one perfect contraceptive.  Each contraceptive affects women differently.  Some women can't use the pill becuase it does nothing and they still get pregnant while others can use the pill and never have an issue with it.  Any hormonal birth control can cause a delay in your cycles returning to normal ones you stop using it.  None of them shoudl affect your ability to become pregnant in the long run tho.  (unless of course you use a permanent form of birth control)

all contraceptives (birth control) can cause a delay in fertility to return. only using condoms would not effect a your body.
i was on a depo shot every 3 months for a couple of years and it took 6 months for my cycles to return.
also ive had a mirena coil in for 4yrs and have been trying to concieve for the past 10 months. can take a little time for fertilty to return in some women but others can get pregnant straight away..  so eveyone is different , not relly a definite answer to this question.. going off your birth control a while before wanting to become pregnant is what some women do.

hope that helps

There is not really a contraception that is 100% effective. You can use Birth control AND condoms! And no contraception effects birth/pregnancy or anything because if that was the case they wouldnt give it out!
