contraction question?

I lost my mucas plug earlier today. Im not sure if I lost all of it or just some but it was quite an amount. Anyways, im not sure but I think im having contractions. It isn't painful though, which is why im not sure if there contractions. I havent timed because idk how, really. They feel like a tight spasm in my lower stomach. Kind of like a period type cramp. They last awhile, stop for awhile and then I get them again. Are they contractions?

Get the app contraction timer. If you can't feel them put your hand on your tummy and when it starts cramping hit the start button and when it let's up hit the end button. If it continues and they get stronger and closer and longer its labor. I loved this app cuz you don't have to worry about keeping track and you can show your doctor.

Everyone experiences contractions differently. They sound like contractions to me. Usually if they are painless then they are Braxton Hicks contractions but since you also lost ur plug it could mean you have dialated some. I would see a doctor.
