contractions?

Hello ladies...last night I went to The hospital because my baby didn't move all day.. found out I was having contractions but I couldn't feel them.....anybody else have this?? They finally got them to stop after some hours and I didn't have to Get anything for them.....The nurse told me it could be causing my cervix to soften...I'm 32+5.....does it Or did it for some of you ladies who have been through this??

With my second pregnancy I had contractions at  6 months which lasted a few hours, but by the time I got seen at the hospital they stopped. The same thing happened at around 7 months and they stopped again by themselves. I was petrified but in the end she ended up arriving 5 days late!

That's great news....I was having them for a while I suppose because I got there at 830 and couldn't leave until almost twelve.....I was just worried about my cervix softening too early or anything like that! Thank you :)

Yes!! I was 34 weeks with my son, I went in for a regular check up and he felt my stomach and felt it tightening (I couldn't feel it at all, inside, or outside) and went for a NST and I was having regular contractions, I had a steroid and a shot to stop them, even though they weren't painful she said they could progress into something more. They never did, and I carried him to term!
