contractions?

Will I feel braxton hicks contractions or real contractions all over my lower abdomen or is it possible to feel cramping on only my left side?

I've had the worst cramps in my right side these past few days and they feel horrendous to the point they knock me off my feet but it's only in the right side of my pelvis I'm not sure if it's BH or cramp or baby on my bladder or what but its the worst pain I've ever felt in my life im being indiuced tomorrow so I will know then if it's anything like contractions

My husband and I got to meet Mr.Braxton-Hicks last week. (I am currently 26 wks and 1 day.) It felt like menstrual cramps and were really low. I am also nervous that I am going to have contractions and not know it, but my friends that have babies and my Dr said that there is no other feeling like it, so I will know.

My first pregnancy ended in me being induced and my son being too young to survive when I was 20 weeks pregnant. Since I was induced, I went from no contractions to hard core labor so I don't know what the beginning of labor feels like. I guess our instinct will kick in. ;)

I had braxton hicks and they just felt like period cramps down low. But like the previous person said, true contractions will be felt all over. They can even start low in your back.
