could I be pregnant?

I just started on a lower does birth control pill this past month.  My fiance and I had sex 7 days after I starting the lower dose birth control.  We had sex for 4 days in a row.  I started taking antibiotics on day 11 of taking my new birth control for a sinus infection.  In the past I never had spotting or bleeding while on my active pills until today, it was a pinkish discharge not red, not like my period.  I heard implantation bleeding can be like this.  I have also had cramping since the bleeding started as well, but different than menstrual cramping.  However I was wondering if the new lower dose birth control with the antibiotics could have made it possible for me to get pregnant.  I am supposed to start my period in 4-5 days from now and will take a pregnancy test if I do not get it by then.  I've never thought I was even pregnant before so I was just wanting to get some advise to see if anyone thinks that could be a possibility.  Thanks!

Yes it's possible because the sperm would still have been alive in your uterus when the antibiotics made the birth control less effective. Spotting can occur from switching birth controls but yes it is also possible you are pregnant. All you can do is wait for your period like you said and test if it's late...good luck.

No I didn't use back up, I had sex the days before I started the antibiotics.  We've used back up since I started the antibiotics but I didn't know if it could still be a possibility for me to become pregnant, I know it can take up to 10 days from sex to become pregnant.  I was just concerned that the antibiotics could have made my bc not as effective in that time frame since I started them.  Hope this makes sense?

Anytime you take antibiotics w/BC you could become pregnant b/c it lowers it's effectiveness.  Did you use back up protection? I think there is a chance you could become pregnant.
