could this bacteria be bad?

when I went to my prenatal visit, my urine test showed bacteria.. my ob asked me if I felt the need to pee but hardly any would come out or if my back hurt by my ribs.. I said no, she said there was bacteria in my urine and that they would have to send an example to the lab for further testing. what do you guys think it could be? it doesn't hurt to pee, I pee normal.. yes I noticed a foul smell in my urine.. no odd discharge tho.. I'm 14weekz 6days preqo. anybody have an idea what it could be? its been 2days and haven't heard anything from my OB yet

Same here, the nurse called and told me I have UTI so I'm on medication for a week. Plus yeast infection cream. I heard it's common and it's ok as long as It get treated. Just make sure you drink plenty of water, some cranberry juice will help too.

It is probably a bladder infection, that your doctor caught early. It is a good thing they caught it now before you started feeling any pain or discomfort. you will probably be given a medication to clear it up, drink plenty of water and you will be fine.

I'm 10w1d and just found out I have bacteria in my urine too. My dr said it's very common and nothing to worry about. They gave me medicine to take twice a day for a week. Hope that eases your fears some.
