could this be a hidden twin ( pic included)

i had a twin miscarriage 2 months ago.
i am now according to the ultrasound 6 weeks i think closer to 8 weeks.

i had an ultrasound the other day that put me at 6 weeks and 2 days. the dr did the ultrasound and the machine looked old and they had to have one person hold something and the other press buttons to print a picture so im guessing its old since its in their old office. hoping the new office has abetter machine.

anyway... the dr started off with a zoomed immage. and instantly found a large sac with one tiny baby with a  beating heartbeat so she stayed focused on that baby. and the entire screen was taken up by that sac.
hubby asked how big the baby was so she zoomed out to show him acutal size and snapped a quick pic and went back to it zoomed in to measure the baby. i asked her to check for another baby and she did really fast just moving the probe upwards where the large sac moved downward. but she didnt check downward. then when i got home i looked better at my pictures she gave me and the one zoomed out i swear it lookes like a sac with a tiny baby in it. i know the way ultrasounds work some times you have to move it around to see a full sac and a slight move and make it completely un seen.

my question is could this really be a twin that is below it? what does it look like to you????
do fraternal twins have to have sacs that are right next to each other? i have seen some googled immages that were not next to each other.

It doesn't look like a twin.  If you had another implanted egg it should be in the darker part near the top.  Another thing to consider is that since you are so early along the egg could theoretically still split into two separate fetus'.  Good Luck!

I'm not a sonographer or anything, so don't take my word on it. But it doesn't look that way to me. I think that there would be more fluid and it would look more like baby 1. Also, how would it implant way deep in the tissue like that? It just seems unlikely to me. But like I said, I could be wrong.

I'm not sure in answer to your question....

I do think that you should remove the post & re-scan without your name & what clinic it was at.  Can't be too safe these days.  Wish I had an answer for you.... sorry.
