I normally have heavy bleeding and very painful cramps. Although i have been trying to get pregnant my period did show up this month. however it is very much lighter then normal and only lasted a day and a half. is it possible to be pregnant? Has this happen to anyone here?? My period was due on the 4th and which the light cramps started with no bleeding and on the morning of the 5th the bleeding started red, but lighter then usual. Please any advice would be appreciated!!!!!

I am too having some kind of spotting and period like symptoms.  I took a test on Sat and it was positive.  I started to spot brown and have lower backaches now.  If I hadn't taken the test I would have thought this was my period.  I'm not sure if its normal or if I'm starting to mc.

I had what I thought was a period two days before my period was due and it turned out to be implantation bleeding.  They say it is not supposed to be red but mine WAS red.  I didn't have any clots as I usually have a heavy period too, but this time it was red without clotting.  So it could be that you are.  My mom had 3 periods with my sister (baby #3) and then had a heavy bleed with her during her 6th month.  That bleed was unexplained the doctors were baffled... they fully expected to have to take the baby, but she stuck in there.  Anyway, back to the original question.  Yes, I experienced this with my baby.  I was SURE that AF would start any minute and I wore a pad and even missed a beach trip b/c I thought for sure she was on her way.  Nope, the bleeding stop.
