cramping?

So I got my BFP this morning! So exciting, But I have been having alot of cramping today, its pretty bad. Kinda makes my legs tingle. I know I had cramping with my dd but I just wanted some re-assurance from other ladies in early pregnancy I guess!

I had high progesterone (40's) and cramped up until about 9 weeks.  It felt like my period was around the corner.  Your baby is still implanting and your uterus has started growing.  It you're doubling over in pain, or bleeding you should call you doctor right away.  For normal cramping that is bearable, I wouldn't worry!

sandy7861- i would have your progesterone levels checks as soon as possible. this may be a sign of low progesterone.

rejoyce - this is an old post so ill let you know what my doctor prescribed me. i took 200mg of prometrium 2x a day orally.

Congrats on the positive test! I had it early in this pregnancy also. I did have low progesterone in the beginning (but not until the 7-8 week mark) but my doctor told me that the time around implantation it is def normal to get cramps and as long as there is no bleeding or other pain associated with it then you are probably in the clear! Good luck and healthy and happy nine months!
