cramps?

Have any of you experienced cramping in the middle  of the night that actually  wakes you up from your sleep? This happened to me a few times in my first trimester, but it just happened to me again last night and I am 15 weeks. The cramps are similar  to those I've felt from menstrual cramps. Lower abdomen, dull and achy. Not sure how long they have lasted because  it started when I was asleep,  but once it wakes me up I'm  up for another 10-20 mins because it makes me uncomfortable and difficult  to fall back asleep.

A full bladder can cause Braxton hicks contractions. That may be what you are feeling.

Thanks :) yea I'm not too concerned  because  I've never had any bleeding or spotting that followed after,  so I'm guessing  and assuming  it just must be baby growing?

I never had this but the bigger my son got in my first pregnancy the less I slept at night. Babies are always more active at night so I could just be yours moving. I used to get sudden sharp pains which my mw said was my son catching the placenta when he moved. Nothing to worry about but could be that xx
