i'm craving tamales! I' haven't had tamales since I was 14 and suddenly, I want them. When i was at the store i bought stuff to make them even though i have no idea how! I even bought a $20 pot to cook them in!! holy ****!!

has anyone ever craved something they DON'T EVEN EAT when they WEREN'T pregnant?
today is CD 28 and i took an HPT and it was -

I'm still on progesterone cream. I read online that you should stop it and period will come but i also read you can take it until period comes...i'm so confused! i'm continuing to take it a couple more days to make sure there's not a little bean in me...

itcoudlhappen.....i've read that pregnant women often have an aversion to the smell of meat and coffee etc...so maybe your sickness is a sign you're preggo.
I don't get sick from the smell of anything excpet the brautwurst (sausages) my DH ate earlier....but i think the smell of that would make ANYONE sick.

I'm cramping again too...so i'm pretty sure AF is coming to town. BUT good luck to you!!!

hehehe...those are some funny stories!!  
I took another HPT (equate) this morning w/ fmu and it was negative. Today is CD 29 so i decided that i would stop the progesterone cream. At 11 am i started having really strong AF cramps and a lower backache and then an hour later they went away. I had a few small specks of red blood on a tampon and that was it.... usually AF doesn't start this way but then again...it could be the progesterone cream.

My bb's have been extremely painful lately, especially upon waking up, and then throughout the day they're okay but still tender. I keep thinking they've gotten bigger but dh says no... (he's such a party-pooper!!!)
I've had cramping now for 6 days, nothing unusual, my face has broken out, nothing unusual, but the cravings ARE UNUSUAL!! LAST NIGHT i had sushi and it was better than ANYTHING!!! (not the raw fish though...the cooked stuff!)

So, i'm not keeping my hopes up....this could all be hormone related b/c of progesterone cream but i thought the cravings were unusual!

For some reason, the smell of hamburger meat or steak made me gag earlier!!??

w/ my 1st pregnancy i was ALWAYS craving chilly&cheese fries...  but not that icky cheese sauce, it had to be real shredded cheese!  i really don't remember having too many cravings w/ my 2nd.  my 3rd i always wanted wings...  but i don't eat the spicy kind, i like honey mustard wings!  this time i went through a phase where i wanted sour cream on any and everything!  and i always seem to want tacos lately (i like to make them at home so i don't get cheated on the toppings!).

i definately don't ever really crave anything sweet!  but i don't really care for sweets all that much when i'm not prego either.  so the thing about if you crave sweets you're having a girl, is definately not true b/c i've had 3 already!!!  :)

Ok yeah I tried eating steak but the smell made me sickish. But what I did enjoy I had it with ranch and hot sauce. I'm not usually a hot sauce eater though. I'll eat it but only on wings and thats rare if I do eat'em.

I really didnt begin having cravings until I was about 6 weeks pregnant, but thats not to say that people get them earlier.. Wait until you miss your peroid then test. Do you have any other symptoms of pregnancy???

you know those little cookies that are in the shape of a peanut with like a sweet peanut butter inside??? OMG, I just had that craving earlier. Now I want potato salad.
As far as I know I'm not pregnant.. fingers crossed though.
Man, I kind of want a baseball hotdog!!! Mmmmmm.

I'm so hungry now!!! hahaah.

I crave a lot of things, which for me is hysterical because I am so sick that I throw up everything I even think about.  For weeks now I have been dying for an all beef hot dog bbq'd until it starts to crack, smothered in ketchup. Now, I know that if I even smelled it, I would throw up, but my mind still goes crazy for it, even though I cant eat food now.

I ate a whole half of a watermelon one day, it was ridiculous. Not to mention I paid like $15 for the melon because it was organic and at an expensive store - I didn't care, I HAD to have it!! A while ago I had to have strawberry ice cream, like... HAD to have it, and I don't even really like strawberry ice cream. I craved it for 2 days, now I don't want anything to do with it. LOL! Pregnancy is so weird... I crave spicy foods, which ***** because I have terrible GERD (acid reflux) but it tastes soooo good...! Tamales sound delicious, thanks a lot!! lol

I dont eat much meat and would CRAVE meat once in awhile - perhaps it was my bodies  way of saying I needed more iron (even though I have NEVER been anemic and I always take multivitamins).  Sometimes cravings can be physiological as well - there are certain things I havent eaten in years but a certain memory triggers a thought process that leads back to the last time I ate that food and I want it!

I never have cravings unless its chocolate and now! I would kill for a tamale that i didn't have to cook! and/or sushi or both!

I had cravings when I wasn't pregnant and I haven't really had any while pregnant - go figure!
